Today you turned two months (!) and to celebrate you had your two-month check-up with Dr Lindsay. On the up side you weighed in at 10 pounds 10.4 ounces (though you haven't pooped in 5 days so the weight might be a little on the high side) and measured 23.75 inches in length. That's almost 2 feet long! Your weight and head circumference is in the 50th percentile range and your length is 50-70th percent. What a big girl. Your dad says you're a keeper weighing in as big as a 10-pound trout...
On the flip side, you had your first rounds of vaccines - 6 to be exact in 3 doses. One liquid and 3 shots. Nurse Lucy did such a fast job your reaction to the pain was delayed. Poor thing. Your face turned bright red, your mouth opened (without sound) and then the wail came out of you. We felt so bad but it was over in a matter of seconds. We fed you and cuddled you before leaving the office.
Later that day you joined for lunch with some of the Starbucks gang and later in the night you joined me in the bathtub so that daddy could wash you. We're still hoping that a good poop decides to come out over night. Sweet dreams. XOXO
