Hawaii practice

Tomorrow is your first airplane ride Hazel! You're going to Hawaii- can you believe it? We are looking forward to spending some quiet and warm time with you as our new family of 3. We will be staying on Kaanapali beach at the Westin for 8 days. Not sure how you'll like the flights but we've got lots of distractions prepared. This last week you noticed the tv for the first time and when push comes to shove we put it in your line of sight (not often at all- it's just colors to you right now anyway). We bought you the most adorable swim diaper and cute sun hat for you to wear. We're not
planning on having you be exposed to the sun but in those rare moments when we are exposed we want you protected. We bought infant-appropriate sun block and have thought through our best plan to protect your delicate and beautiful skin. We are sooooo excited to get you there and relax. Let's hope you're a good little sleeper on our flight so our neighbor doesn't get too upset (we didn't buy you a seat so your in our laps the entire way).
