Hi sweet baby! It is bittersweet that I'm writing about our final week together. I know we have a lifetime ahead, but knowing I may never have this much uninterrupted time with you makes me sad. I have enjoyed our days together; the wake up and feeding routine, our walks to the park, our activity mat, tummy time and reading sessions, picking out fun outfits for you and having spontaneous photo and video shoots with you. In the 4 months staying home with you I've witnessed you smile and giggle, improve your hand coordination, recognize daddy and me, grow in length and weight, learn to love bath time and become my best shopping companion (I look for your response when trying on clothes!). What keeps me going is knowing you will be in good hands with Emebete, Nerie and Elpie- they love taking care of you. Also since we'll be working in the same building, we'll get to come down and see you anytime we can. The other babies will make good playmates and you seem interested by the other babies and what they are up to. I realize this will be an adjustment for us all and we will get by. We love you so very much and only want the best for you. xoxo
