Monday you have your 4 month doctor appointment and you weighed in at a whopping 12 pounds, 13 ounces and over two feet tall (24 1/4 inches to be exact). According to Dr Lindsay you are in the 50th percentile for weight and 50-70 percentile for height (which makes daddy happy!) We are so proud of you baby!!
This week you also completed your first week of full time daycare. You seem to be adjusting well and are taking naps on your own, enjoying the other babies, and are even sitting up by yourself (with the support of the boppy). Its been an ok adjustment and I love popping down to play with you or feed you when I can. Your teachers Nerie, Elpie and Emebete just love you so much. Nerie always gives you a big hug and kiss before she goes home each night.
Last weekend my aunt judy paid us a visit (partly to see you!) and we had a nice time talking about poppa's childhood and more about grandma Hazel (your namesake). Grandma Hazel was a feisty woman who loved her children, took in kids when they were in trouble, had a trap line (ask your daddy about this) and LOVED to fish (which your daddy does too!). She loved wearing pants and jeans and always kept her nails perfectly manicured with red polish.
