What a big today is- your first birthday, your first birthday party and your first day of being a toddler. Your daddy and I planned a small party for you but first we woke up and snuggled in bed before going to breakfast with grandpa and grandma Anderson. I made you a cake- yellow cake with raspberry filling and white and pink frosting We decorated the party room in the condo and your family and some friends showed up to celebrate. You were such a great sport- playing with everyone and showing off your walking skills, opening presents and eating ice cream and a little cake. By the time we got back home (5pm) you were exhausted and tried to fall asleep on the floor- but we kept you up so you could skype with your cousins in MI. Here are some things about you at this moment in your life.
- you are walking like crazy but every once in a while you plop down on your bottom
- you love books- all of them but especially a few special ones
- you are still nursing a little bit in the morning and evening
- you are sleeping better and waking up about 1 time during the night
- your hair is getting long and its best in pig-tails to keep it out of your face
- you are a dancing machine and shake your booty to the music
- you are fiercely independent and like to do things without too much help
- you get so excited when you see your momma and daddy
- you still love doggies
- you demonstrate such pride hen you realize you've accomplished something- so cute :)
- you are getting so much better eating- still not eating meat but that will come soon
