Aloha Hawaii!

We got home from Hawaii late last night. While the flights were a bit trying at times (for all of us) we did it! You had so much fun. When we first arrived you didn't like the pool and cried at the touch of sand on your feet. By saturday (later in the week) you couldn't get enough of the pool and beach. You wanted more and more slide time and probably went down it at least 30 times. Daddy always went too fast and mommy always went slow. You made some friends at the pool who thought you were the cutest baby ever. We even got you into your floaty seastar by the last day! The only thing you didn't learn to love was the ocean. I think the beach waves were too loud and too new for you. Next time you will master the open water. A typical day went as follows:
-awaken to playing in bed with mommy and daddy
-a little bit of yogurt (and coffee for mommy and daddy)
-out for breakfast (you enjoyed pancakes usually)
-time at the pool and in the sun (slides, beach playtime and bird chasing)
-a 2 hour nap in the hotel (mommy and daddy would trade off watching you. Daddy would snorkel and mommy would read her book)
-more beach/ pool time in the afternoon. You would eat your crackers, dropping a few and wait for the birds to come visit you
-up to the hotel to get ready for dinner
-dinner in Lahaina, Kahalua or at the hotel
-bath time (ok, well not most nights) book reading, a little bit of Little Einsteins and then off to bed (most likely for all of us!)
-next day- REPEAT!

We had so much fun with you. You were a trooper- tried new things and did great.
Can't wait to take you again next year and get you in the pool and beach again!
