At the end of March mommy needed to go to China for 9 days. While in China you got really sick and daddy took good care of you. You had a terrible cough and a fever. When daddy and I skyped over the weekend you were laying sleepily on the couch and moaning... I felt so bad being away from you. Daddy gave you medicine and tried his best to comfort you.
Meanwhile, mommy got really sick in China and I was worried about your little sister-to-be and what the fever was doing to her. Yes, her. On the up side of the trip daddy called me to say you will be having a little sister in early October.
Unfortunately, things got worse after I got home. The morning of Easter we noticed some liquid coming out of your left ear- when we googled the symptoms it all led back to a ruptured eardrum. You went to the doctor the next day and it was confirmed. We got you some meds (eardrops and antibiotics) and you soon felt better! Thank goodness.
