goodbye Nerie

Last week we said goodbye to Nerie- what a special teacher she was to you. She loved you so much and frequently threatened to take you home for the weekend or bring you back to the Philippines with her. She was equally sad to leave- we created a photo with most of the kids as a memento for her- she loved it.
On her last day I asked you to be an especially nice girl and you were. When we left the room (all of us in tears) you ran over to her and threw your arms around her and gave her big kisses. We plan to connect on facebook and see her next year when she makes a visit to the US. She loved you very much.
