midwest adventure

last week we went to minnesota and michigan to visit family and while the trip started off fine, you got sick in the middle and just weren't yourself, especially once we got to michigan. Its too bad- your cousins really wanted to spend time with you but you were a little resistant to get close to anyone except mommy and daddy. You just didn't feel well and while best intentioned, your michigan cousins swarmed you which might have been a little intense.
All in all though you played in the lakes, road boats, pushed a dolly in a stroller and had many hours of outside play. You didn't like wearing your life jacket but got used to it over time. It was so much fun to see you begin to like spending time in the water and kick your little feet while mommy or daddy held you.

The flight back was difficult because you were exhausted and didn't get a good nap and we didn't arrive into seattle until late in the evening. It was fun spending time with you and daddy- especially before your little sister arrives.
