This week you are transitioning to the transition classroom upstairs- the first time in daycare history that you will leave your same classroom and leave Emebete's care. I cried when I dropped you off with Emebete on Monday knowing that you would spend the majority of the day in a new classroom, with new teachers and new friends. Slowly in the week they will have you spend more and more time with your new class and next week you move to 100% upstairs. I peeked in on you today and you were soundly sleeping in your new room. I have a feeling you will get used to the new experience quickly. I am so proud of you that you are taking this all in stride. Luckily Ashby will also be joining you next week in your class so at least you'll have one familiar face.Friday you will stay with grandma and papa when daddy takes me on a mini vacation over the weekend- our babymoon. Your little sister will be arriving in about two weeks and I'm trying to get you ready for this as well. You have mastered your toddler bed (good girl!), you use a regular cup during the day to drink and you've even (on your own) not been so reliant on your binky. We've practiced holding baby dolls- rocking them gently so you can hold your little sister when she joins our family. You love pushing the stroller, placing your doll inside and taking her throughout the condo. You've seemed to grow up so much in the last few weeks. Words are coming out more regularly including no, more, car, bye bye, mama, dada, hi, shoes, and so on.
In a few weeks our family will change and for the best I'm sure. I know this might be difficult for you but know that we love you and you will always be our best little girl. xoxo
