this week was halloween and we planned on you wearing the little puppy costume that grandma made for Portia several years ago but the moment we tried to put you into your costume you emphatically said NO. We didn't fight it- afterall, it was pouring outside, mommy had been at work most of the day at a meeting and we were all eager to get home to relieve grams and papa (who were watching 3 week old Dottie).
