you are my little me

today you put your pony tail holder on your wrist and said you did it because I had one on my wrist.
today you said you were taking long drinks from your cup because I was taking long drinks from my glass.

you have a fiery spirit- yet are the most cuddly little girl I've ever met.
you have an amazing imagination (including your best bear friends koki, chopa and georgie)
you remain very particular about shoes and your appearance and LOVE your little sister.
you thoroughly enjoy show and share day (usually on fridays) and think about what you will bring all week long (usually you bring a car (super fast!), a horse/ donkey, your stroller or your minnie mouse backpack.
you are really beginning to understand birthdays and each day ask if it is your birthday or Dottie's.
today you want to be an elephant for halloween but I imagine that will change between now and then.
your favorite foods still include pasta, cereal bars, berries, french fries, yogurt and pasta (thogh I know you enjoy tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches as well).
Besides your "you" memories I just want you to know how much I love you and how much fun I have with you. I put you to bed each night (sleep on the floor mommy!) and tell you stories that my feeble mind makes up (about mouses and elephants and monkeys and turtles). while not great, you seem to enjoy them.
What amazes me is that you are growing up to be a little girl and all signs of baby are fading away. I just love getting to know each new level of you and I look forward to all that you become.
I hope you know that if you ever need someone to listen or discuss world affairs I will certainly be that person. Now go brush your teeth my little gulab jaman!
