Art Smarts:

Friends this week and the rest of the month will be working on acts of kindness. This morning our friends worked together on their partner hand print activity using glue, glitter, different color balls. During this activity our friends work on sharing with one another, using their magic words; may you please hand me..., thank you, your welcome and other kind words to their friends.

Our friends started this activity by seeing who was next to them at their table, then with a teachers help would trace the friend and partners hand and from this point our friends were off creating their art work with their partner. Morgan and Hazel show us how friends use their words to ask for something (glitter), Hazel asked Morgan, “May I have the pink glitter”? Morgan then hands it to friend Hazel and Hazel says, Thank you to her friend! Matthias, Dev, Kallie and Caden show us how some friends had one friend glue and then other friends put the color balls/ glitter on their hands.
