Wow- you are growing up right before my very eyes and I am proud of how you are coming along. There is no denying your smarts or your fierce and steadfastness. you have opinions and you will defend them (future layer??). I can tell you I just saw a plane and you will tell me all the reasons it is actually a bird and make me question my own reality : )
You love to make up stories and your imagination is wild with scenarios- you can pick up a few horses a truck and maybe a person and build an elaborate tale chock full of emotions and lessons. You may or may not be aware, but I often listen in on to these tales. Though you will scold me if you catch me.
And then theirs pop music- from Katy Perry to Maroon 5 you seem to love music and surprising to us you know the lyrics. We need to be mindful of what you're listening to!
You and Dottie are in constant positioning to be first- who saw something first or who got to somewhere first or who gets to hold mommy's hand first... I love the determination and hope we can steer this into good sportsmanship and respect. The journey is what it's all about though a little victory in the end doesn't hurt!
And your sweetness and big heart- we often talk about the importance of being nice. That some people either don't have what you have (like food or toys or homes) or some people do not like themselves and that our role should be to make people feel good about themselves. You listen in earnest and I pray you will be one of those good girls who tries to make all types of people feel good and feel welcomed. I know you will be because I see it in every day. Your generous heart wants to help people.
