Hello Kelly and Erik,
We just wanted to share a little about Hazel’s first day with you. She seemed to easily adjust to the classroom schedule. Before going to our room next door, she read a story with Serafina’s dad in KPB’s library. She came and played Dramatic Play as well as built a Marble Maze track in block area. We had an on-site Field Trip to the 7th floor where we got to see Louis Foxx, an amazing Magician. Hazel participated in all the group call and response games, as well as laughed almost the entire time. Hazel followed directions and listened to teachers during the field trip, and throughout the day. She fell asleep, and is now awake and getting ready to go outside. Our outside time is between 3-3:30, then we come inside for snack and free play.
