First Day of First Grade

Here's to a great (and better) year ahead for you. What a ride elementary school has been and I know you will go far. Try not to give your teachers (or the principal) a bad time this year. Make friends, be yourself, have fun, be curious and learn new things. I love you so much and am proud at how grown up you've become over the summer. I feel like you went from little kid to someone who I can have conversations with and get to know the real Hazel and what's inside you. I hope you always feel you can talk to me- we have the most wonderful evening talks- I hope that never goes away.
