You're a pro baby!

Hi Dumpling~
we went on a photo shoot with you yesterday to capture your beauty and turn into birth announcements and announce your arrival to the world... or at least people important to us.

You weren't having it and reluctantly cooperated towards the end of our quick mini-shoot with Laurel. Laurel was the photographer at our wedding and we were hoping she was expert enough to capture your quirky uniqueness and highlight your fun spirit. We got a few good shots (one included in this blog)- you're a beauty all right.

As far as our time together, it seems that everyday gets better and more fun. You're smiling a bit now and I can get you to smile when we do the up and down song... you like bouncing! Unfortunately you're also becoming a little spitter and spit up after almost every feeding. It's no problem at all as long as we have our burp cloths nearby : )

You're still a good sleeper and usually sleep 4-6 hours straight in the evening and then have a few early morning feedings thereafter. I have no complaints as I'm getting a chunk of sleeping time. Plus, the morning is fine since we have plenty of coffee around here!

The holidays are approaching and you're getting more and more alert. I think we need to get you something visually stimulating since the only thing we have is a burp cloth with goldfish on it- you are fascinated by it but I'm sure there's something more appropriate for you to be staring at...
I still can't believe you are a month old now! You have changed so much- on monday you weighed in at exactly 9lbs and 21.5 inches in length. According to the baby growth charts your head circumference, length and weight are in the 50th percentile. By no means are you average but your growth is right on track!
