Monday we took you back into Children's Hospital for follow up blood work and another ultrasound of your liver and adrenal area. We met with Dr Chou (the oncologist) on wednesday to find out you received a clean bill of health. We were so relieved and happy to hear the news- as was your entire family and friends. Your daddy and I said our prayers and I just knew you would be just fine. Thanks to all good for the news!
On Tuesday you were left alone for the first time with your grandma and grandpa Goodejohn- they fed you two bottles in an hour and your grandpa affectionately referred to you as miss piggy! Funny.
Today your auntie Alyse came over for some girl time and we went to Starbucks for a coffee before walking downtown to do some shopping. We had lunch with Uncle Cameron and Auntie Kristin and then continued shopping. You were a good girl and got a little warm in your gear (a bunting and blanket) so I took you out and held you (and fed you) during our lunch. Afterwards Kristin and Alyse strolled with you and made you smile. Speaking of smiling, you have been smiling so much lately- especially in the morning after you've woken up. You get this big grin on your face that emits true happiness and joy. We LOVE seeing that! I could look at that face for hours. Yesterday I swore you even giggled but I might have been imaging that. I've been a little tired- not because of you (you still sleep on average 6 hours straight in the evening) but because I've been trying to sew a dress for Uncle Jon and Mark's holiday party for tomorrow night- I was hoping to make you a coordinated dress.... we shall see if I can get it done by then. If not, we'll find something fun to wear. Don't you worry.
