Mom fail
Tonight was the Northwood elementary science fair. Your mom was a science facilitator. Perhaps I should have trained for the event better but I didn't. Your mom was to go facilitate a session on making rain clouds. We were supposed to work with 25 children and ask these children to put shaving cream into a mason jar and then drop food coloring on top of the shaving cream. The idea was that the food drop would seep through the shaving cream and turn into rain drops inside the jar. Unfortunately your mom did not prepare for the event and so her cofacilitator finished the project in 15 minutes when we were supposed to finish in 35 minutes. Unfortunately that left us with too much time to fill where we asked children to draw pictures and to answer silly questions about rainclouds about rainbows and about sunsets and sunrises. While the event was not successful overall I was most happy to spend time with you Hazel and to interact with your friends at school. At the end of the night after we returned home and you were eating dinner you said today you were happy that mommy was the best and that the science fair was the best part of your day. I was proud to know you said I was the best. Thanks for joining me in May next year be better. Good night sweet girl
